Chelsea Georgesen, MPH, has deep subject matter expertise in Medicaid and human services policy. For nearly a decade, she has helped lead complex Medicaid initiatives by analyzing policy impacts, working with partners and stakeholders, and aligning technology solutions. At Aurrera Health, Chelsea supports stakeholder engagement and facilitation, communication strategy development and execution, policy analysis and development, and program implementation.
Prior to joining Aurrera Health, Chelsea was a program manager at the Minnesota Department of Human Services overseeing the state’s Dual Eligible Special Needs plans and managed care long-term services and supports policy. She previously worked with Minnesota’s nonprofit managed care organizations to support legislative and policy priorities, particularly during the unwinding of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Chelsea is based in St. Paul, Minnesota, and enjoys spending time outside, knitting, tending to her garden, and giving her dog, Heath Bar, plenty of attention.
