Deputy Director

Kathleen Kane, MPH, advances innovative behavioral health policy development and implementation efforts at Aurrera Health, with a focus on Medicaid and safety net transformation initiatives. Her work centers on analytic problem solving, strategic planning, and cross-system engagement to help clients translate policy intent into sustainable improvements in care delivery. 

Before joining Aurrera Health, Kathleen worked in operations at AltaMed Health Services, where she led process improvement and implemented pediatric Adverse Childhood Experience screenings as part of the ACEs Aware initiative. She previously provided direct social services and supported research and outreach for non-profit organizations focused on homelessness and substance use disorder.

Kathleen enjoys reading classic rock biographies and spending time with her dog.
