Mia Nafizger, MPA, brings deep expertise in policy analysis, communications, and strategic planning to the Aurrera Health team. Her work focuses on advancing effective behavioral health policy and helping public sector partners navigate complex systems and implementation challenges.

Most recently,  Mia  supported the launch of Utah’s Behavioral Health Commission at the state’s Department of Health and Human Services, where she helped commissioners develop a statewide behavioral health strategic plan. Earlier in her career, she worked in health policy for the Washington state Health Care Authority, focusing on health care needs and access for different populations and value-based purchasing.

Mia  currently resides in Utah. Outside of work, she enjoys getting outdoors, making desserts, and watching movies.
