Nicole Markmann, MS, has extensive experience in managed care quality and performance measurement. At Aurrera Health, she supports state, federal, and foundation clients on initiatives focused on improving health care quality and access. She also provides strategic communication recommendations to state government leaders on how to translate federal policy into member-friendly resources.
Before joining Aurrera Health, Nicole served as a director in the Data Science & Advanced Analytics department at Health Services Advisory Group, Inc., where she oversaw analytic activities related to performance measures, focus studies, and quality rating systems under External Quality Review contracts for 11 states. In this role, she provided data-driven recommendations to Medicaid agencies, evaluated health care policies and programs, and supported states in meeting legislative and CMS requirements. She also contributed to the design and implementation of California’s Workforce Quality & Incentive Program.
Nicole lives in Phoenix, Arizona, where she enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
