H.R. 1 Implementation Support: Member Engagement and Stakeholder Communications
As states implement the sweeping coverage and eligibility changes introduced by H.R. 1, they face the urgent challenge of translating complex federal requirements into clear, actionable communications for members, providers, and community partners. Aurrera Health supports multiple state clients navigating this landscape by providing policy support, technical assistance, collateral development, and stakeholder engagement services designed to minimize consumer disruption and ensure accurate, timely information reaches the right audiences.
Working alongside state Medicaid, health and human services, and workforce agencies, Aurrera Health develops targeted strategies grounded in partnership and trust. Services include developing policy guidance, translating policy into systems requirements, creating plain-language state communications, developing member-facing collateral such as toolkits, social media content, and website materials, and conducting stakeholder engagement sessions to inform implementation planning. In addition, we support cross-sector collaboration, helping states navigate the identification of strategies to support participation in qualifying activities for Medicaid members and SNAP recipients.
Through this work, states are better equipped to implement and communicate eligibility and coverage changes, reduce member confusion, and maintain continuity of coverage during a period of significant federal policy transition. The result is a more informed and engaged member population, stronger partnerships with community stakeholders, and implementation strategies grounded in real-world input from those most affected by the changes.
