Annie Averill
Deputy Director
Annie Averill, MPP, contributes to behavioral health system reform at Aurrera Health, supporting opioid response initiatives and federally funded grant work. She brings experience in research, policy analysis, and project management to strengthen behavioral health systems.
Before joining Aurrera Health, Annie worked at Commonwealth Medicine, where she supported the MassHealth Office of Behavioral Health in developing and implementing behavioral health delivery system reforms. She also worked at the University of New Hampshire’s Institute for Health Policy and Practice, where she supported technical assistance and harm reduction education for health care providers and delivery system reforms.
Annie lives in Massachusetts with her husband and their cat, Tofu, and enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and biking around New England.
