Deputy Director
Blake Owens leads projects at Aurrera Health related to Medicaid, behavioral health policy, and homeless services. His work includes strategy development, stakeholder engagement, health policy research and analysis, and project management to advance person-centered systems of care.
Before joining Aurrera Health, Blake worked at Plymouth Housing, a permanent supportive housing provider in Seattle, where he managed community engagement and special event planning. He previously worked at LA Family Housing, delivering direct services to people experiencing homelessness. Blake also worked as a senior consultant, supporting business transformation projects for health care providers and payers.
Blake lives in Los Angeles, CA and enjoys trail running, cooking, and spending time with his partner and friends.
