Christina Chu, MPP, supports behavioral health policy projects at Aurrera Health, contributing to statewide opioid response and related behavioral health initiatives. She provides policy analysis, technical assistance, and project coordination to help states strengthen and improve behavioral health care systems.
Before joining Aurrera Health, Christina was a data and policy analyst supporting value-based purchasing program evaluations for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Prior to her work with CMS, she coordinated National Institutes of Health research on HIV prevention at a safety net clinic and advanced Rhode Island legislation on adolescent sexual health privacy. She also completed a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Public Health Law internship focused on policy surveillance and legal epidemiology.
Christina is based in the Inland Empire of California and enjoys gardening, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with family and friends.
