Senior Policy Consultant
Liz Stein, MPH, supports clients on Medicaid-related projects. Her work focuses on federal and state policy research, technical assistance, and stakeholder engagement. She specializes in conducting environmental scans, interviews, and policy analyses to synthesize complex information into actionable strategies and easy-to-use reports.
Prior to joining Aurrera Health, Liz worked as a researcher for the Minnesota Senate where she analyzed the policy and political implications of proposed legislation and other high-profile issues, primarily relating to the state’s Medicaid programs and health insurance marketplace. Liz helped craft bill language, amendments, and messaging briefs for Senators on a range of issues across the health and human services sectors.
Liz holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in public health from the University of Minnesota. She lives in Minnesota and enjoys reading, hiking around the state’s many lakes and trails, and playing with her rambunctious cat, Lenny.
