Priya Shah-Ambelal, MPH supports behavioral health and opioid response initiatives at Aurrera Health, with a focus on policy efforts related to behavioral health transformation in California.
Before joining Aurrera Health, Priya served as a senior analyst at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, managing federally funded projects and supporting agencies at the federal and state levels. Her work focused on older adult health, aging, and the social determinants of health. She also has experience in health care innovation and management consulting, as well as in direct patient care.
Priya lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her partner and enjoys cooking, reading, and discovering local coffee shops.
