Lizzy Schlichting

Deputy Director

 

Lizzy Schlichting, MSW, supports behavioral health initiatives at Aurrera Health, including work on federally funded grant programs and cross-sector initiatives. Her work primarily focuses on training and technical assistance, policy development, and stakeholder engagement to advance public health and behavioral health system improvement, including support for healing-centered and trauma-responsive policy projects.

Before joining Aurrera Health, Lizzy was a policy fellow at CHANGE, where she focused on maternal, sexual, and reproductive health and developed educational materials and legislative tracking tools. She also worked at Bridges to Wealth, designing programs to reduce poverty and prevent violence in Philadelphia schools. Her clinical experience includes work with people who use drugs, children and families, LGBTQ+ youth, and people experiencing homelessness.

Outside of work, Lizzy enjoys traveling, reading, and caring for her pets and plants.
