Sophia Artis, MPH, provides policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, technical assistance, and project management support at Aurrera Health.
Before joining Aurrera Health, Sophia was a graduate fellow with the National Managed Long-Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) Health Plan Association, where she conducted Medicaid policy research to strengthen the services offered to the dually eligible population. She brings experience in complex project management, as well as in provider compliance and quality assurance, including with the California Department of Public Health.
Sophia lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two cats. Outside of work, she enjoys tending to her garden, hiking, and braving the freezing waters of the Pacific.
