Mike Brand, MSW, has experience with Medicare and Medicaid policy, research, and behavioral health services. He supports clients with analysis, technical assistance, stakeholder engagement, and project management.
Before joining Aurrera Health, Mike worked as a policy analyst at Community Catalyst, focusing on community engagement, health innovation, and improving care for people dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid. He also supported medical students to develop person-centered and trauma-informed care practices as a teaching associate at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. Mike spent the first decade of his career providing direct services, with a focus on helping individuals, families, and communities navigate behavioral health crises.
Mike lives just outside of Providence, Rhode Island and in his spare time enjoys making music, trying new foods, and exploring nature in New England.
